Ensuring Precision: Warp Analysis and Mold Adjustment at WIT Mold

When product flatness or dimensional accuracy is critical, WIT Mold goes beyond standard mold-making practices. We perform detailed warp analysis and incorporate windage into the mold design to ensure the final product meets the customer’s drawing requirements—without any warpage. This meticulous process combines advanced analysis with professional experience to guarantee precision and reliability.

Step 1: Mold Flow Analysis

Before cutting any steel, we conduct mold flow analysis to predict potential warpage. Key areas are identified, and additional steel is reserved in critical zones to counteract expected deformation. This proactive approach helps minimize adjustments later in the process and ensures the mold starts with the highest accuracy.

Step 2: T0 Trial and Measurement

Once the mold is prepared, we conduct a T0 trial using fixed molding parameters. Detailed measurements of the molded product are taken to assess any deviations from the intended design. This step establishes a baseline and provides valuable data for adjustments.

Step 3: Data Comparison and Tool Adjustment

The measurements from the T0 trial are compared with the original 3D design. By analyzing deformation trends and identifying areas of warpage, our engineers make precise adjustments to the mold. This step is critical for translating theoretical design into a physically accurate product.

Step 4: T1 Trial and Fine-Tuning

After implementing adjustments, we carry out the T1 trial. The results are carefully verified, and final fine-tuning is performed until the product fully meets all specifications. This iterative process ensures the final mold produces components with the required flatness and dimensional accuracy.

Through detailed analysis, careful adjustments, and professional expertise, WIT Mold ensures that every product meets the highest standards of precision. By combining advanced technology with experienced judgment, we deliver molds that consistently produce high-quality, warpage-free components, providing our customers with reliability they can trust.
